Workplace Math is the math I use for everything that I do. This math is used in every trade and every industry. While I have taken higher-level math in college and university, I really use only Workplace Math 10 in all that I do.
“Where will I use this in my life?” – I can give you example after example for all of this.
YOU WILL BRING:
- 3-Ring Binder (not a duotang or a folder or a “notebook;” I’m really clear about this)
- Paper
- Pencil
- Easer
- A REAL calculator with trigonometry functions (NOT your cell phone)*
- Ruler with millimeters*
- A protractor*
*I will provide these for my classes
You will be taking notes every class, working on worksheets every class, and writing a quiz or test every class.
Since every quiz and test is OPEN BOOK, you are going to want them with you at all times so you can reference them. You don’t/won’t take the notes? Good luck with that.
