We all have our favourite manufacturers. Some are still around, some are gone.
Research a number of car/truck/boat/motorcycle manufacturers that NO LONGER EXIST.
Pick one (if you don’t already have a favourite), and research it:
- When did the company start?
- Who started the company?
- When did the company end?
- What were the circumstances surrounding the demise of the company (WHY did it die)?
- What types of vehicles did the produce?
- What other manufacturers/makes/models were their vehicles targeting?
- What was its highest performance model?
- What was its most luxurious model?
- What was its most expensive model?
- What was its cheapest model?
- How reliable were they?
- What did the sell for at the time (in those days, AND in today’s dollars)?
- What do they sell for now?
- What websites or forums or facebook groups cater to these vehicles today (ie: where can someone go to find people who have these)?
Find a few pictures of the vehicle (or vehicles), pictures of the engine, pictures of the factory, pictures of the person who started the company.
How are you going to organize and arrange this information into the best presentation?
