Relocated Fuel Filler
OEM filler was between the driver’s door and rear wheel, feeding the gas tank under the back seat. Under the back seat is now 4-link suspension, driveshaft, and dual exhaust. Move the tank = move the filler.

How I Spent My Long Weekend
Chasing the forever leaks on The Crusty Chevy. Apparently the last time I did the intake manifold, I did not do a very good job sealing the China Walls. Eating coolant (Blackstone Labs also reported coolant in the oil) became a bigger appetite, which became puddles on the floor.

These guys can analyze your motor oil and let you know what’s going wrong with your engine. I’m suspecting the head gaskets are heading south again…
39 Years is Enough
This will be my fourth transmission rebuild (four different vehicles) in one year.

Hmmmm. I’m Suspecting a Seal Issue.
Rebuilding a 4L60E at the school in the Mechanics class. Transmission does nothing. Took it apart. Two smoked clutch packs. It ~looks~ like the transmission was assembled faulty at some time. One improperly installed seal created a $3000 bill. Nice.
