Getting Cranked!

Chasing a Hot-No-Start issue with the Chevy.  Headers are doing a number on my starter.  Latest attempt is swapping to a modern gear-reduction starter (still using remote “Ford” solenoid as well).  We’ll see if this finally works.

Stall Converter and a Shift Kift

And I HATE dropping transmissions.  It all went together well, 2500 stall, and the shift kit went in without following the directions (less likely to break parts this way).  The last of the seals in the transmission were replaced – hopefully less Exxon Valdez happening.

New Boots

The “Truck” rallye’s I ordered way back in August are now, ultimately, unavailable.  So…. “Vette” rallye’s then.  And BFG’s.  Because Old School.
